Yard sale

Do you live in the sacramento area? Do you like yard sales? There is going to be a big one in May. The location: Step 1 Dance and Fitness on 19th and T st, in the parking lot behind it. I will be one of the sellers there. I will be selling some of my original peices from last summer, plus vintage clothing, books, and other cool stuff! We had our friends donate unwanted items, and now we have a room filled with the stuff! I will post when exactly VERY soon.

PS: Step 1 is my 2nd home. Ever wonder why I don't post alot? Because I am there 6 days a week DANCING. :)

SANFRANCISCO

My fav place in CA... except for the traffic!!! DON'T GO WHEN OBAMA COMES TO TOWN, the traffic is 10x worse when the president is there. No offense, I like our president. Just not his traffic. I went yesterday with mom and we went to an amazing exhibit at the De Young called Balenciaga and Spain. It displayed vintage clothing from spain during the 30s-60s. It was fantastic! We saw so many inspiring pieces I was overwhelmed! I definately learned alot about the past and its different periods of style. I bought 5 postcards there.

<-- that was like the logo
                                                                                  for the exhibit

I'd say that if you live by the bay and <3 fashion and clothing and vintage style, go check it out! Its unbelievable to see those pieces in person. The De Young is located at
Golden Gate Park | 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive • San Francisco, CA 94118 | 415.750.3600.

We also went to the beach, and H &M. I bought 3 things in H&M:
A headband

A hangy/ croppy/ off the shoulder top

The museum was sorta expensive so we didn't shop much. OH WELL! It was worth seeing the amazing pieces there.
PS- decided i didnt like the dress on... so i wear it as a shirt tucked into skirts....... I took the pics of it off.

Fashion Police

OH MY
Kirsten Dunst (at the Bulgari benefit) is just going the wrong way with this purple silk dress. What's with the barret? Yeah, she can dress young (cuz' she is) but geez this is a little too young. Is she going to kindergarden?
Dress: Prada
Jewelry: Bulgari

I'm afraid this dress just isn't flattering. If she had styled her hair differently, maybe curled, or wavy, with no little barret, she would have looked better.

Not working for me. WHat do u think? DRAB or FAB? Comment your thoughts and reasons

Flowy crop tops

If you've paid attention, you'd have noticed the crop tops everywhere in stores. If you haven't, here's a couple of good examples from nordstroms:

So, that was one style crop top that (I like most) that looks great with the right styling. Speaking of styling, The good thing about flowy croppers is that they are so easy to style. You can just throw one on over a tank or long sleeve for winter, and you are good to go. Of course slimming pants would lk alot better th this, because a flowing skirt would look strange with a flowing shirt. Too much going out from the body in one look. So stick with some pants with the flow top. This kind of shirt will lengthen your torsoe, beacause the shirt underneath (it sould be long) will stick out and make the crop top look short, increasing the length of your torsoe.(The second one is a better example)

If you want this kind of look, make sure the top fits right. You don't want one too small that would look awkward.

Another cropped option is something  this:

This is a fitting cropper. Its a sweater that chops off at under the bust. This is a different look. My computer is screwing up, so srry if there are typos. :)
